YSRC will work with local Aboriginal Community Housing organisations to manage a portfolio of housing and to develop new housing opportunities including: 

  • 45 properties which will continue to be used as social housing (this will be coordinated through a local Aboriginal Community Housing Organisation) 

  • 10 properties which will continue to be leased as government employee housing 

  • 49% interest in the proposed Karloo and Beachlands developments 

Housing and Land for Housing is in significantly short supply in Geraldton.  YSRC is part of a Housing Group for Geraldton with other key stakeholders looking at how and what the requirements are going forward to allow us to capitalise on Economic opportunities going forward.
